Etheris: Myth Reimagined

Etheris is an immersive web concept born from a personal exploration during the Awwwards Masterclass with Niccolò Miranda. The project reimagines Jamaican folklore through a futuristic lens — blending Baroque aesthetics with surreal brutalism to craft a narrative-driven visual experience.

The primary objective was to explore how emerging AI tools like ChatGPT and MidJourney can be used collaboratively in the creative process. From ideation and moodboarding to UI design and copywriting, I leveraged AI strategically to simulate a professional design pipeline — while infusing personal heritage and storytelling into the mix.

Challenges included balancing aesthetic coherence across multiple character profiles, designing intuitive yet atmospheric interactions, and constructing a fictional world (Etheris) that bridges mythology and tech noir. Solutions were found in intentional UI decisions, use of symbolic visual language, and developing an editorial-style layout grounded in both historical and futuristic design codes.

• All while refining my ability to work through a complete, high-concept design process.
